Jeff McWherter: Partner & Director of Development
Jeff McWherter is a graduate of Michigan State University and has over 12 years of professional software development experience. Jeff is a Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD), Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA), Microsoft Certified Application Developer (MCAD), and Microsoft Technology Specialist (MCTS).
In 2009 Jeff was awarded with the Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) for the second year in a row. Jeff is also a published author, with Testing ASP.NET Web Applications published by Wrox Press. Along with being an author and software developer, Jeff is very active in developing programming communities across the country by speaking at conferences and organizing events such as the Lansing Give Camp, which pairs developers with non-profit organizations for volunteer projects.
Amelia Marschall: Partner & Creative Director
Amelia Marschall holds a degree from Northern Michigan University in Graphic Design and Marketing. Amelia has over five years of graphic design experience ranging from logos and branding, print media, and website design. Amelia has a complete knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite products, as well as HTML/CSS web development technologies. She is continually exploring the latest techniques in website design, and has spoken about the topic in the local development community.
Scott Gowell: Senior Developer
Scott Gowell graduated from Northern Michigan University with a degree in Network Computing: concentrating on the latest concepts, architectures, and algorithms. With non-profits and large corporations, he has maintained existing systems and implemented new technologies using databases, intranet application creation, and other web applications. Since his first computer—a Commodore 64—he has largely specialized as a .NET developer. With over seven years of professional programming experience, Scott is engaged in designing the next generation of network application architectures.
Lauren Colton: Web Content Editor & Information Architect
Lauren is a graduate of James Madison College at Michigan State University in Social Relations and Policy, and is now pursuing a second degree in Web and Interactive Media at the department of Telecommunication, Information Studies, and Media. Her editorial work has included the International Encyclopedia of the Social Sciences (Macmillan Reference USA) and Encyclopedia of Modern China (Charles Scribner’s Sons). Lauren has experience using the content management systems Joomla! and DotNetNuke, and she has contributed to content integration and information architecture at area Give Camps: volunteer development events. She is also focused on learning emerging theories of digital information management.
