Nikki began exploring web development out of curiosity – she wanted to know how websites are built and information is displayed on the web. What she discovered is a newfound passion and an exciting new career path. Nikki regularly participates in online bootcamps, like FreeCodeCamp, and virtual conferences to learn, network, and get updates on the latest technologies and techniques. She also enjoys lending her skills to volunteering, where she’s built responsive, accessible websites for non-profit organizations and campaigns. She has a broad education background, including art, graphic design, and marketing, which allows her to bring a unique perspective to her projects. As part of our front-end team, Nikki works with clients to brainstorm creative ideas and bring them to life.

Get To Know Nikki

If you could learn how to do anything, what would it be?

I've always wanted to learn how to build a computer. I'm also curious about projects that can be made using recycled materials/electronics.

What's your favorite thing to do on your day off?

Spend time with my family, especially outdoors. A few of my favorite hobbies include cooking, hiking, and trail jogging with our dogs.

Name a hidden talent.

I'm a pretty good bowler and used to compete in high school. At one point, I averaged over 200 per game!

What was your favorite subject in high school?

Art.

What's the best gift you've ever received?

My family's first computer really sparked my interest in technology, which ran on Windows '95. As a kid, I would play on it as long as I could; it felt like magic.
