Food@MSU

Welcome to our table–that's the slogan for a new global awareness campaign aimed at educating the public about food and health. Food@MSU draws attention to food-related issues that effect our families and our planet. The campaign helps consumers make better informed decisions about the food they eat.

Part of this initiative is to host a series of round table discussions between scientists, farmers and consumers. To get the word out, they needed a dynamic, content-focused website where they can easily share news and promote upcoming events.

Impactful Design

Food@MSU wanted their website focused on quality content. The homepage uses empowering phrases and striking imagery to make a statement–let's roll our sleeves up and make positive change. Our creative team designed the site to be modern, engaging, and highly visual.

Engaging Content

The primary goal of the Food@MSU campaign, and their website, is to inform people about the relationship between global health, food security, and technology. We draw attention to their stories, news and events with prominent call out buttons on the homepage. Editors can easily add new stories from a range of format options and create compelling content with embedded images, videos, and other visuals.

Tagging System

Within the CMS, editors can tag stories from a list of pre-defined categories or create their own tags. This extensive tagging system allow editors to connect related stories, creating a dynamic taxonomy that displays relevant content for the user and boosts search engine results.

Multi-Phase Project

Our project management methods leave room for flexibility. We work with our clients to find a project plan that meets their unique needs. This particular project required a special work plan that was in sync with their marketing milestones. We separated the project into three distinct phases. This plan allows Food@MSU to introduce new offerings as their campaign gains momentum in the months to come.
